Pantex Computer Inc. authorized to carry Certification Study Guides by Wave Technologies Inc.

(August 6, 1998) Pantex Computer announced today that it has reached agreement with Wave Technologies to distribute their self-study Certification Study Courses. These courses cover the A+ Computer Support Professional Self-Study Program and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Self-Study Program.

The A+ Study Guide is designed to prepare a student for the A+ Certification Test. In addition, the product is designed to improve technical customer service knowledge and skills in PC technologies, LAN and WAN terminology, Internet fundamentals, PC and Macintosh operating systems.

The Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) training course, offered by Wave Technology and Pantex is designed to prepare a student for the MCSE examinations. It also should improve their knowledge and skills in Microsoft's operating systems, enterprise network applications, and support programs.

These products from Wave Technology and Pantex Computer are the start of a full product line that will round out our Total Technology Solution. Our goal is to provide a more of a complete solution for our clients. Pantex now offers Custom Computer Systems, Operating Systems, Applications, and the training to support the installation.

  • These courses should allow any VAR or Reseller to train their own staff to become more competitive in a professional environment.
  • The products are priced for re-sale to your customers, giving the VAR / Reseller a way to minimize non-profitable support time.
  • Training solutions provide VARs a much higher margin than the typical hardware sale.
  • Training products encourage loyalty which should result in follow up business opportunities back to the reseller.
  • Reseller's whose staff completes Microsoft Technical Exams may apply to become a "Microsoft Solution Provider".
